"The property was lovely - very modern and well-located. However, the room we were assigned was quite small, and the bed pushed into a corner. I had to crawl over my spouse if I needed to get out of bed before him. The A/C wasn't working super well either, even for such a small room. So, I'd recommend this for solo travelers! Overall, it's a nice place to stay, but maybe not great for couples (or, we got unlucky with our room assignment)."

"If you’re looking for intercourse and a continental breakfast, this is your place. If you’re looking for a pool with a view or an outdoor bar over the bay, go somewhere else. This hotel underutilizes their privileged location where the Miami river meets the Biscayne Bay. The pool is right on the water, but they managed to block the view completely with 5 overbuilt cabanas. The pool bar has its back to the bay. So no view from the bar. There is a laaarge lawn, where you ‘could’ see the giant cruise ships coming in and out, except they built an outhouse, yes, an outhouse right on the edge of the water to block your view. So view of the bathrooms from the lawn. There is a raised terrace with great views! But wait, it’s blocked by pool equipment. Unforgivable. It wouldn’t take much to remodel the pool and lawn area to maximize the spectacular views that you’re blocking. Get it together Intercontinental!"

"I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this hotel. I was charged twice for my stay, and despite multiple attempts to resolve the issue, no one answers the phone or returns calls. Customer service has been completely unhelpful, and they are refusing to refund one of the duplicate charges even though it was clearly an error. It’s frustrating to spend your hard-earned money and then have to fight just to get your own money back. Communication has been terrible, and the lack of accountability is unacceptable. I would strongly recommend checking your bank statements carefully if you stay here. Based on my experience, I would not return or recommend this hotel to others."
