"Overall very nice accommodation and the shuttle driver was very nice. However, whoever actually manages the property really needs to do better with communication. The day of my arrival I was still trying to figure out how to actually get to and check into the property since no instructions were provided. I had to try to contact them multiple times and also had to reach out to hotels.com multiple times. I’ve been to Japan to snowboard before, I don’t need my hand held. However, traveling...

"Stayed in mid August. Great place and location… only hicups were parking and the uphill distance to the lift. Having to ride bikes up the hill was not great start mid August but the had buke storagd and I would not mind the walk in Winter. Parking was a bit complicated and a bit of a pain to grab things and pack up but location trumped that inconvenience. I just tried to find time in winter but it appears booked out. Location was as a good as I have had in Nozowa - right in the heart of the...

"This place is a gem for our ski trip. Cosy lodge, our room was spacious, very comfortable beds, beautiful views and daily breakfast was a perfect start to the day. Location was perfect for us and just a few minutes away from the main ski resorts via a free shuttle. Has great amenities and comfortable facilities. The only improvements we would suggest is to give the toilet areas a renovation.
Overall, our stay was perfect, and a special thank you to Christo & Maggie going above and beyond to...

"We were welcomed warmly by the front desk staff. This is a nice hotel right beside the high speed train close to ski hills. It has everything you need including an Onsen (if that is your thing). Rooms were clean and quiet"

"It was a very nice stay. The place was so peaceful and quiet. Very impressed with the cleanliness. The staff are very polite and helpful. Sadly I just stayed 1 nite and it was raining., but we get to enjoy the hotel’s amenities. "
"Fantastic location. Easy to walk to Nagano station. Easy walk to Zenkoji. It is a Japanese hotel so it is a small room. Don't expect western size. No issues with it at all. "
"Overall nice stay at this Toyoko inn the front desk staff were exceptionally helpful in having an item we left at another hotel delivered to us, special thanks. Breakfast staff very efficient and helpful."
