โSixty DC is brimming with potential to be the go-to retreat in DuPoint Circle! It was a privilege to stay at a spotless new hotel. It has a classics-meets-Morocco feel, and was on par to boutique indie properties Iโve stayed at in Europe. Forgot to use my $10 mini bar credit, so make sure to scan the codes they give you to find out about amenities. Restaurant was very savory, almost too much so, so I suggest going tapas style there. But great vibe and service. I would love to visit again! โ
โEverybody that worked there was so friendly. I had some real bad issues with catching a flight and my car being unavailable the day that I checked out. But the gentleman behind the desk that worked that early morning that morning, 7 July was invaluable in his help. He went above and beyond what he needed to to help me solve some issues that had nothing to do with my stay there or anything that was really his job to help me out with. But he took the time and effort to make some wonderful...
โI stayed at Arlo (Washington DC) recently, and while the hotel has its merits, my overall experience was disappointing.
On the positive side, the room was in good condition, and the location is excellentโconvenient for exploring the city.
However, I had a distressing incident during my stay. Around 6 PM one evening, while I was in the bathroom, someone unexpectedly opened my room door. I heard the door and immediately shouted, โWhoโs there?โ The intruder retreated, and the door closed. I...
โI recommend the hotel, locating Dupont circle, 1 min walk from subway station, Starbuck is next door, many restaurant near by.
Bar and restaurant offer delicious food and drinks. Clean and comfortable with kind staff. โ
โThe rocation of this hotel is great. Just close to the Metro or Subway. Also very close to the Time Squared. This is the perfect spot for visitor, who does not want to spend times in finding parking spot.
Another is amenity. I usally do not use amenity. But the aroma of body rotion is so good. It made me feel comfortable and enjoyable at Riu.โ
"I stayed at Arlo (Washington DC) recently, and while the hotel has its merits, my overall experience was disappointing.

However, I had a distressing incident during my stay. Around 6 PM one evening, while I was in the bathroom, someone unexpectedly opened my room door. I heard the door and immediately shouted, โWhoโs there?โ The intruder retreated, and the door closed. I reported this to the front desk, and they later informed me that it was a cleaner who had mistakenly opened the wrong door. This explanation felt odd, as it isnโt a typical time for cleaning, leaving me uneasy for the remainder of my stay.
Adding to the frustration, when checking out, I discovered an additional hidden fee labeled as an โurban feeโ of $35 per night, plus a $5.58 โurban fee tax.โ The math behind this tax didnโt make sense, as Washington DCโs sales tax rate is 6%. Worse, there was no mention of this fee during check-in. Understandably, our group was frustrated by this practice. After complaining, the hotel eventually agreed to refund the urban fee, but this felt like an unnecessary hassle and poor transparency on their part.
Given these issuesโparticularly the unsettling room incident and the unexpected feesโI cannot recommend Arlo (Washington DC). There are plenty of other options in the area that offer better service and peace of mind."
