โWe had a warm welcome on arrival. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The situation of the hotel is perfect for walking into the town with excellent restaurants to choose from.
We booked a snug double room which in itself was fine, however, we visited during a heatwave and found the room far too warm (even with the fan provided) and the bed a little on the small side. Having said that we found the decor and cleanliness perfect. โ
โThis was the perfect stay over for a weekend with friends and family in the New Forest. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and went out of their way to ensure a pleasant stay. Rooms are clean, comfortable and modern in a very old hotel.โ
โI always stay at Ormonde House when I visit the new forest and it is ALWAYS a wonderful experience. So peaceful and relaxing. Beautiful rooms, very friendly staff who are always willing to stash my bag after I check out but before my train out). So much love to everyone at Ormonde House. โWe loved our stay! The room was spacious for my family of five. It did get warm and the lack of air conditioning made it tough for sleeping. The fans provided helped. โ
โGreat stay. Lovely room, clean and comfortable. Very friendly owner. We wished we had stayed Tuesday and Wednesday instead of the Monday so that we could have eaten in the restaurant both nights - the food was delicious. The continental breakfast was also amazing - massive choice to suit all tastes.โ
โWe loved this place, after a lot of stress we wanted to find somewhere special to take our minds off of it all and here was a fantastic find! The spa, staff, food, location absolutely brilliant! Highly recommend and they upgraded us which was a treat (Thank you). It is a really special place and sometimes the deers flock at the front which was very pretty!โ
