โGreat place for a quiet getaway. EV charger made it easy for the car. The Setting Inn is close to all the towns and vineyards you want to visit and see while in the Willamette Valley. Amazing breakfast every morning and they make you feel like itโs your place when you are staying there. David, Fabio, and Logan were all great hosts and couldnโt have asked for a better experience for my wife and I to celebrate our anniversary. โ
โGreat stay- comfy beds, spacious bathroom and bedroom areas, wine tastings, patio with fire pits and nice area behind to take a walk / jog. Only downside is there is a pet boarding facility across the parking lot and occasionally some dogs barked. It did not bother me as I am a sound sleeper but could be an issue for a light sleeper (ear plugs should solve it). There were numerous pets staying at the hotel as well and we were on a high floor so no issues. โ
โThis is definitely the nicest hotel I have ever stayed at. I love the style of the lobby and rooms. Every staff member we spoke with was very nice and helpful. I didnโt get to spend as much time in Portland as I originally planned due to car trouble so I know exactly where I am staying when I come back to explore the area more!โ
โNice hotel. Comfortable bed. Some rooms are large. Large lobby with lots of seating and a gathering space on the second floor. Starbucks attached to the hotel. Hotel does not currently have a restaurant. Other coffee shops a couple blocks away. Parking garage in the basement for $50 a night. Fridge and coffee in the room. You can also request a microwave. โ
"The location is excellent. Overall, the staff are friendly. The rooms are spacious and decent, but they do not meet the high-end quality I imagined when booking. It's an average hotel, but it has a few drawbacks.
Firstly, it was listed as offering free breakfast, but instead of an actual free breakfast, they provide a credit that can be used like a voucher for the total amount. The breakfast itself is not great for the price, so it doesnโt seem worth selecting. Additionally, there is no bathtub in the bathroom, which is a disappointing omission.
The tap water is also quite murky. They claim itโs mineral water, but it just looks dirty. Being sensitive, I also experienced minor skin irritation after using the water.
The pool and fitness center are somewhat small but usable. This hotel is $40โ50 more expensive than others, and I booked it for the pool and breakfast as its advantages, but they werenโt particularly necessary, as the experience is ultimately similar to other hotels.
It wasnโt a bad experience, but Iโll likely try other hotels next time."
