Great Place for a Getaway...

Everything at the hotel was great. Service, Food, Price, Comfort - all in all, we had a great weekend staying here.

Les odeurs du restaurent son partout dans les chambres, la tele ne fonctionnait pas, non rien fait pour reparer. Les dejeuners (oeufs) ne sont pas varié, de plus vous n'avez pas le choix, vous manger des oeufs pochés un matin, le lendemain, une omelette. Ordinaire.

We'll be back!

Excellent customer service. Amazing breakfasts. Very comfortable well appointed room. Could use a bit bigger dresser or chest of drawers otherwise everything was perfect. No problem with parking, inn was within an easy mile walking distance to the heart of town. We will definitely return.

Nice clean property , close to all amenities

We really enjoyed our stay. The staff was very friendly . The restaurant had great food. Our rooms were clean and the property was very quaint and quiet. It is located very close to all that Niagara has to offer.

Great spot to spend a few nights. Rooms are small and cozy. Price is right. Cindy the owner does an excellent job looking after her guests.

Lovely Inn

This a small well run inn. Tha owner, Cindy, was attentive to our needs. The breakfasts were delicious and beautifully served. We enjoyed our stay in NOTL.

Cindy was great. Breakfasts were amazing, she took note of foods/drinks you liked or disliked. Very pleasant place on a quiet street. Would definitely go again.

A great place to visit, rest and venture out!

Cindy welcomed us with smiles and open arms! A very clean room and a fantastic breakfast (no continental breakfast here!) with freshly made breakfast sweets were out of this world! Great recommendations from Cindy as well. I've told my friends and co-workers that this is a MUST VISIT place!

Great Host, Great Experience, Affordable

Cindy made incredible 5 star breakfasts and was an excellent and knowledgeable host. I would stay there again simply for the breakfasts. The location is perfect walking distance from the main street and wineries, about 4-5 minutes. Very close to a bike rental as well. Room and bathroom was clean and spacious and the bed was comfortable. Not quite like a bed and breakfast, there is more privacy like a hotel but Cindy helped us find everything we were looking for in town and gave some great suggestions on which wineries to start with. Overall incredible experience. Thanks again to Cindy for making our first stay a special one.

Warm and inviting

We stayed for 6 nights here. The Inn is older, but the room was quiet, comfortable and clean and the breakfasts, delicious and nutritious!

Great hospitality

This was our first time staying in a B&B. It was a wonderful experience. Our room was clean and comfortable and we felt very much at home here. Cindy looked after all of our needs. Breakfast was great. We will definitely be returning here.

Highly recommend this inn

The owner is very cheerful and accomodating. She makes a great breakfast. Great restaurants within 2 min walk and a short walk to old town. You couldn't ask for a nicer stay.

Very nice stay at Orchid Inn.owner was lovely and helpful. Clean, simple rooms with everything needed. Not a luxury inn, but great for the cost. Nice breakfast. Overall just a really nice place to stay in lovely NOTL

One of the best hotels we've been to

I booked this at the last minute as we were travelling down from Toroto and wanted to visit Niagara. All of the other hotels available looked to be either very large chain hotels next to the QEW Highway, sited in Niagara itself or small B&B's with highly variable reviews. Orchid Inn looked to be better placed in a quieter, more picturesque town and got very good reviews so we took the plunge and booked. The hotel is a small(ish) family run establishment on a quiet road (virtually no night-time traffic) on the edge of Niagara on The Lake. It is a very smart traditional wooden building outside and traditional/modern inside, the rooms are clean and comfortable. The shower was excellent (I get picky about these sorts of things), the aircon works well and there is free WiFi thats good enough to run Skype audio calls. The town centre itself is only 5mins drive or a pleasant 15-20 minute stroll away on quiet residential streets. Niagara itself is about 25-30mins drive away up the Niagara Parkway road. Cindy, the owner is a perfect host (we got a nice email from her once we had booked) and was keen to explain all that we could do in the area and what we should see. Breakfast was a highpoint, you dont get a menu or buffet but instead you get a platter of home-made food ( e.g. pancakes, omelettes, french toast, fruit, muffins etc) that varies each day. The Restaurant in the evening was also excellent, serving Chinese/Thai fusion-style food and some very good locally produced wines.

Clean, quiet, amazing breakfasts

We went for dinner and the Shaw Festival downtown - walking distance. Breakfast was provided both mornings and was amazing! We rented bicycles and went on an afternoon wine/beer tour. There is a food truck event on Wednesday evenings with music within walking distance, as well. We also took a short tour of the Fort. A beautiful area! Niagara Falls is a short drive away.

Great inn!

We loved our experience at orchid inn! When we arrived we were greeted by the lovely innkeeper who was helpful and welcoming. Our room was clean and well maintained. The breakfasts each morning were delicious and made with love. We would definitely recommend this lovely inn!!!

We will be back!

My wife and I entered up to Niagara on the Lake for a little get away. The Orchid Inn was a great relaxing place to rest our head. The complimentary breakfast was very well prepared and tasted great. The owner is very attentive and extremely nice. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit.

Great location for bike riding

Great stay and can't say anything negative about this place. My wife and I both enjoyed the location for getting around without using the car. Quiet location and Cindy is a fabulous hostess, so go ahead and give it a try.
