"The stay was comfortable and the staff were friendly. The deck area attached to the kitchen was the most pleasant common area for people to lounge and meet others. There was adequate space for bags within the 4-bed mixed room with a standard bed. Overall, a pleasant short stay in a central location that should be considered when staying in Auckland. "

"Was happy with the staff at United..unfortunately not so impressed with 'wotif' ( third party booking ).. Got to United only to find there was no room available ( one i had book 2 months in advance)..Had booking references Numbers and whats more ..i actually rang the hotel 2 minutes after i had made the booking ( just to confirm) and they said yes all is fine?? After a 45 minute wait while staff located us a room we had somewhere to stay..( myself and my two sons) one of which was flying out...

"Great stay for 3 days. Staff extremely pleasant, nice and accommodating. Located within Auckland Central Business District. Easy walking to major attractions within downtown Auckland. Extra bonus and accolades to front reception desk staff. Our flight from Canada arrived at 05:15 Auckland time. Arrived to hotel thinking we would have to wait to check in around 15:00, staff worked their magic and found a room to check in immediately (hotel was fully booked) which was quiet, away from crowds, elevators. We were sleeping soundly and recovering from Jet Lag by 7:00. Thank you Holiday Day Inn. "
