“Loved the beautiful and nicely appointed Blue Room 💙 It was comfortable and had a roomy bathroom with a heated towel bar on a timer. Miss Julie straightened up every day and left us clean towels and topped off the supply of homemade Scottish shortbread. Breakfast was amazing; continental plus she'll cook anything else you could want. And, there are homemade jams 😋 The former manse is absolutely charming and homey and Miss Julie and Mr. Richard are completely lovely hosts.”

“The place is beautiful, and our room was very good. The biggest issue was that Uber or Bolt does not pick up there. And we had to ask the hotel to call a taxi, which was really expensive (3x Uber). From Edinburgh center, ~£20 Uber and £50 taxi. Or you can go to the nearest train station for ~£15. The other issue was that there is no phone coverage in the hotel and very weak connection outside.”

“It was a lovely hotel with very friendly staff . Very dog friendly which was fab and the staff made us feel very relaxed with our dog . Our room and bathroom were large and the bed was very comfortable .The room and bathroom were very clean my only minor issue was there was some black around the shower which looked off putting .”
