Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites in North East (Erie) by IHG
10/10 Excellent
"The staff was absolutely great .. very helpful ... pool area awesome .... room clean. The only complaint i have is how noisy the upstairs guests was i got woke up at 6:50 am from them running across the floors and being very loud "
"The first staff woman we encountered was very kind and knowledgeable. She was really personable as well. The male staff we encountered at the end of the day was far from that. Originally I signed a paper that discussed hotel rules, quiet hours, etc. my husband was in the gym area and the male staff came in and shut the lights off while he was in there and said ‘time to get out!’ Very rude. Around 10:45 we called down to the front desk since quiet hours started at 10 and for the last hour adults and children were screaming outside of our doorway which was directly near an elevator and entrance/exit to the waterpark. When we called the same guy said ‘yeah well quiet time night start closer to 11 now so just wait’ then hung up. I’m certain the paper I signed stated 10:00 but aside from that I understand you can’t control others behaviors. I was more disappointed in the customer service of this staff member. The room was stayed in was okay. No issues with cleanliness but could be updated. The bathroom had a heat lamp and had a dial on the wall for a jacuzzi but by looking at the bathtub, a jacuzzi bath had not been in that bathroom in years. "
"Clean and safe feeling. Check-in man very friendly. Breakfast had only white and whole wheat bread (no GF, but I’m used to that), some cereal and one yogurt cup left. We went out for breakfast "
