"The location was perfect in Bayfield - right across the street from the ferry to Madeline Island, and close to restaurants and shopping. All of the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The room was very clean. We'd definitely stay there again!"

"Overall the hotel was inviting with great staff but many things were missing in rooms or things were not kept up well. We switched rooms three times due to a fridge that wasn't working, a terrible smell in a room from repairs and our third refrigerator leaked on the floor. The key cards did not work consistently which was frustrating to have to use multiple times or go back down to the front desk to have them reset."

"Staff was friendly and helpful. Property is showing its age. time to do a refurbish. bathtub faucet tripped continuously. bathroom door hinges installed improperly so door did not close easily. lighting in the room was very poor with outdated CFL bulbs. Easily fixed but management apparently has chosen not to. Bed comfortable. heating/cooling unit worked well and was clean."
