The restaurant Il Pescatore was terrible. We ordered steak and the seafood platter all of which was over cooked and dry. Service at this hotel was below average from every other place we have stayed in Vallarta. Most people did not say hello, we were not asked how our stay was at checkout, maybe they didn’t want to hear complaints. The pool was dirty and we only stayed here a few days because of the waterslide for our 11 year old. The room was facing the street near the entrance and it was ok for the price. It was weird that the front was all windows which were covered in a white security coating with no option to see outside without opening the door. It had an old office look to the exterior. Despite having a privacy notice on the door, the housekeeper knocked and opened before we could answer the door. If you book on a budget it’s fine. Do check out the restaurant el Sazon de AMA in the shopping center right outside the gate. You will be pleasantly surprised by the tasty food and exceptional service.

I have been coming to this resort for many years and it just keeps amazing me at how wonderful it is! The staff are so friendly and helpful! The food and drinks are out of this world! And you can’t beat being right in the beach!

It was great entertainment by the pool and if it was too noise you could go to the adult pool. Most of the waiters were very tentative with serving drinks and food. I didn't like that the gym usage was not part of the all inclusive and that you were limited on the restaurants for dinner.

Paradise Village is a nice resort. We unfortunately had a very bad experience with one of the Restaurant Managers which spoiled part of our trip. Overall, the staff and service was very good.
