“When we arrived to the Garrett Inn, we were able to check in, and were given a key to the room, and told where to park (each room's number was plainly painted on the space for each room, however, due to the configuration of the parking lot vs the way the room's were situated, the parking spaces were off-set from the individual rooms, so when parked for the room assigned, the space was two spaces offset. The room was well appointed, two full beds, a bathroom with a pocket door, a small table...

“I never did find an ice machine; not sure if there's one there. This operation has apparently experienced a change in ownership, and the new owners, Raul and Josie, are trying hard. While we were there, there was a leak from the bathtub that got to the unit below us, and we had to temporarily locate to the unit next door, then back after they finished repairs by next day noon. Expedia really should include phone numbers to the operators when booking because it will better facilitate emergency...

“We stayed over for a weekend and the property is newer and overall good. Beds are clean, bathroom is in the smaller side and bathroom door hits the toilet . Kitchenette is nice and well equipped however the utensils were dirty and hair was found on top of utensils. Outdoor areas are clean and well kept. On the flip side, there is no food available at the lodge, there is no room service, staff availability is none after 8pm so if you have noisy neighbors you are out of luck. The bar was...

“The room was clean. The staff were nice and helpful. The property was very pretty. We would stay again.”

“Breakfast was excellent every day. The beds were comfortable. Promised boat rides were cancelled or delayed. Had to wash coffee cup in my room to use it. Porch was full of spiders & webs. The floor above my room (hallway & guest room) creaked so loudly when walked on, there was no sleeping until after everyone quieted down for the night. Owner was a "my way or the highway" kinda guy, telling guests to not wear bug spray or exchange chairs at outdoor tables. Disappointing, as this was a...

“Pro tip: don't try to find this place in the dark! We were lucky to find someone who could point out the street to us. Little to no GPS or cell service in the area so download your directions and room info ahead of time. Inn was lovely. Beautifully restored and maintained. Breakfast was self-serve and adequate. Rooms were beautiful and beds were comfy. We had a little trouble finding our rooms due to the lack of cell service so couldn't pull up the email. Had to wake up the poor owner at 10 at...

“The property was very nice, the rooms and amenities were very clean. It was a cute little spot, I recommend staying if you're in the area! Our bed sagged a little in the middle but otherwise we had no issues with our stay.”

“This hotel was a great budget option and was exactly what I expected it to be. The room was large enough, the furnishings were adequate and the bathroom was ok. If you just need a room for a night or two and don't have a lot to spend, this hotel will do the trick. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. I would stay at this hotel again if i was traveling in the area.”

“The room was lovely and the staff was wonderful. The bed and pillows could have been better but I was told they'd be looked into.”

“Clean, comfortable bedding with great staff.”

“I selected here because of close to Timberline Ski Resort during last ski season. In peak season it needs to book ahead of a month. Room was small, but super friendly staff and comfortable bed, clean room. Best one is good room rates if booking available in Canaan Valley. Recommend strongly!”

“My stay in the historic inn was great. Both dinner and breakfast were served just downstairs from my room. The inn is old but nice and I hope to stay there again someday. My room had an old fashioned bathtub but no shower. Otherwise, all modern conveniences were available.”

“로비가 넓고 직원도 친절했어요. 조식 먹는 공간이 좁지 않아 좋았고 수영장이 깊어요. 아이들 데리고 가기 좋았습니다.”
