When staying at the Westerly, you have access to the Day's Inn pool, hot tub and breakfast. There is no staff at the Westerly so you need to check in at the Days Inn.

It was a nice place for an overnight stay - clean (except a little bit of a pee smell), filled with toiletries, towels, but we stayed 3 adults and no bed sheets were provided and we had to call and inquire that, also check-in/out + breakfast place is in Days Inn which is 1 block away.

The hotel is managed by a larger chain a couple blocks away. The internet bill was unpaid so no TV or device usage possible. The pool and hot tub are not on sight. The larger chain checked us in at their facility for the inconvenience. That facility was perfect

Room was clearly heavily smoked in, sheets/covers on bed had large white stains, windows were broken and missing screens, staff had initially said someone else had already checked in so we were given another room… the final straw for us was the baggie of pills left in the kitchen cabinets. What if my young children had gotten ahold of that? Avoid this property at all costs. Stay anywhere else or bring a tent when visiting Ocean Shores.

The room was in poor condition. The bedding and towels were dirty. There was mold in the bathroom. I do not recommend it.

Don’t be fooled by the pictures. It’s crazy small. The rooms smell musty and moldy. The curtains for the showers do not keep the water in and water comes up from under the tiles. The pool is super small and was super crowded. The room that the free continental breakfast was given out had more flies than a fresh pile of dog turd. They have a big mean looking dog just roaming around the property. Walls are paper thin.

System was down and I didn't even stay at the motel I booked but it worked out in the end and my kids enjoyed our stay! Front desk was extremely friendly and helpful! Thank you Andrew! Coming from a cleaner myself the housekeepers could do a WAY better job or find a different line of work... lol. But we left happy.

I was a bit worried based off previous reviews but we got what we expected which was just a home base close to the beach for the 4th. It wasnt perfectly spotless but we brought Lysol wipes and made do. The staff member who checked us in was wonderful. There were no bugs or musty smell like other reviews stated. No complaints.

You have to go to a different hotel to check in get the breakfast or use the pool our booking was for 3 people the room hada double bed and a couch that was not a sofa bed. The toilet paper holder was hanging off the wall there was a phone in the office if you need to contact the front desk person they never gave us the wifi information and when we called they just kept hanging up on us.

Wesley hotel is owed by the near by Days Inn by Wyndham and needs to sold. You have to check in down the street. First the heater in the main living room area did not work. Second, the spare blanket had holes in it and when walk in the room the first there used towels on the floor. When I checked out the person who was not helpful and seem very indifferent to care about what reported the night before . Remember when I said you xheck in down the street so it was not as if you can just head to the office at night to get extra blankets. When also checking in expedia.com said it was $50 deposit and the property actually charges $100 as per there policy. That was not fun call to have ask why is it state one thing and it actually another buyer beware with staying here.

Check in was at the Days Inn up the street which we weren’t informed of ahead of time. Our reservation was through Expedia. The staff at Days Inn were professional, friendly and quick getting us checked in. We rented two rooms and one had a dirty dog smell, the other was better but still a little funky. The room was clean but the sofa bed sheets were questionable. The shower was hot enough and the bathroom was clean and stocked. We enjoyed the location; close to the main parts of town and the beach. We were even able to see a lot of the fireworks being set off from the beach.

It should be a $60 hotel straight up. I am sorry to say the neighbors were both loud on both sides they should have more of a sound barrier to start. The excessive air fresheners cause suspension of why so much need for perfumes I am sorry to express I barely slept due to the fragrance gave me a headache. The front desk seems very aloof like ….. ok sorry about that sorry not sorry kinda vibe like …. I asked for a refund and the guy was like I’ll see what I can do but I’m like dude it’s a lost cause…… I drove 3 hours to this hotel and couldn’t wait to wake up and drive home…. I hope I get my money back and my pillow I forgot … we shall see….. basically the price out weighs it’s worth

The Westerly is a very old property but I really enjoyed the charm. The owner is on site and very nice. It’s a family property. The staff call her Oma. The rooms all small but well appointed. The futon in the living room is the equivalent to a double hide-a-bed. If you’ve never seen one maybe the previous reviewers didn’t know how to open it up into a bed. But it is there and there is extra bedding for it in the bedroom. I will definitely be back.

Cons: There is no attendant on site - you have to drive down the road to the Days Inn to check in, There is a phone in presumably the "office" that you pick up and it dials The Days Inn down the road. Sometimes they answer. The room was supposed to be ready at 3, it was not, we were told it would be ready at 4, it was not. Apparently The Westerly check in system is archaic and the Days Inn attendant struggled with our check in and it took nearly 30 minutes to get that figured out. Upon arrival, the sheets were dirty, a couple of the pillows had no pillow cases, one of the blankets felt like melted plastic, the heater didn't work, our window was screwed shut, the "neighbor" next to us used half of our parking spot, the blowdryer was falling apart and literally in 2 pieces and did not work. The "continental breakfast" was a broken waffle maker and yogurt. Pros: The pool and hot tub (located down the road at the Days Inn) were very nice. The Porthole Pub Bar and Grill is within walking distance and they had live music and good drinks.

All the amenities were actually down the street at the Days Inn. The beach access isn't at the motel, it's down the road at the public access. Place was not what was expected and they took quite a while looking for a key that worked, finally just put me in the Days Inn location when I suggested that would make me happier. If I hadn't pre paid we would have gone elsewhere. At least it was only an overnight.

The Westerly makes a lot of claims about itself. Like that it has a pool, and a hot tub, and free breakfast. None of these is true. It doesn’t even have an office. It turns out that you have to drive to a different property to check in and check out. Maybe they expect you to sneak in and use the amenities there? I don’t know. The photographs of the rooms are also misleading. At first, I thought they were just deceitful. But, upon reflection, I surmised that they were taken with the wide-angle lens on a cell phone that fits more in the frame but creates spatial distortion around the perimeter. The result is that the rooms and the furniture look larger than they actually are. This is the cheapest lodging in town and it is justifiably so. I recommend only staying here if price is your sole consideration.

There is no check in at the hotel, it seems to be a 'cheap' extension from the Days inn, that is where the check in is. A confusing note on the door, go to Days inn to check in. and phone that does not work in an opening. The owner / front desk / cleaning / empty boxes person does NOT speak English, 'You Key' was what she knew. She tried to charge $200 per dog. (I have service animals) but $200 is a little overboard. Bed was fine, small room but okay, fridge okay, Microwave not used, TV worked good, bathroom too small to use. (leave it at that) Parking in front of room, which I like. I learned next door to me 'squatters' had moved in and now for over 60 days and no payment and not leaving and police not doing anything (room 7) As they smoked weeds I left very early to get away. Would like a full refund but as she charged $200 per dog, I do not see that happening. Expedia should NOT have the Westerly or Days inn in its program.
