The door had little soundproofing. My room was across from some kind of club room, staff were clanking bottles and what sounded like power washing tubs or buckets from 10 to 11pm. Not great for a 4am wake up.

The Cumberland was a decent hotel overall. The bed was somewhat comfortable, you could feel its age and the underpinnings were lumpy and uncomfortable.
