"Nice hotel in center of town. Its obviously used a lot by working people. There were a lot of trucks parked outside, never seen so many at a town hotel before. The rooms were quite nice. The first one we were offered was on the ground floor next to the pool. We did not like it (just gave me bad vibes) and asked for upstairs and that was really nice. The good thing about working people is they are tired and want to sleep not party so it was really quiet. The outdoor pool was nice a little cold but pleasant it did have a smell of weed around it but there were none in the rooms. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The hotel receptionist did not seem to like non working men in her hotel and was a sharp and not very helpful, unusual but I guess they don’t get many tourists?"

"The older lady in charge of the breakfast room was so sweet!!! A nice, welcoming face to see in the morning. And everything was super clean down there. Five stars for her. She is a total gem! The room was clean, but the walls are thin. I could hear the dude next door in the bathroom. Ew. The bed was extremely soft, but it turned out to be a nice night's sleep."

"El lugar es precioso y las instalaciones son muy agradables. Las piscinas están muy bien y el sauna también, aunque es bastante pequeño. Sin embargo, la limpieza de la habitación dejó bastante que desear: las sábanas no parecían estar completamente limpias y encontramos varias moscas dentro de la habitación. El desayuno estuvo bien, pero la variedad era bastante limitada. En general, considero que la relación calidad-precio no está muy equilibrada. Da la sensación de que se paga principalmente por la ubicación y la zona, más que por lo que ofrece el hotel. En general, mi experiencia fue simplemente “ok”."

"Wonderful trip, beautiful grounds and flowers. Definitely needed better signage for activities - Where the restaurants are located, where to drive to the Mountain Coaster, truly needed SIGNS for buildings and where stuff is located, McCartney's Cafe, etc... the pictures show 3 pools, but The Tamarac is just ONE pool and 2 hot tubs (1 was not hot) there was a charge to use the other pools. Overall great stay, but disappointed in what was included and where to go to eat...."
