โSunnyside is a gorgeous older property right on the lake. The room was comfortable, the shower fantastic (awesome water pressure), and the views spectacular. โ
โGreat bed, linens were nice, towels were fluffy. The staff was pleasant and helpful at each interaction. Had a great cup of coffee in the lobby for a very fair price.
Had dinner across the street at Jakeโs On The Lake, a Tahoe favorite!โ
โThe area was quiet and calm, the room was small but not a surprise we saw the pictures. Itโs very much like a mini cabin and we enjoyed the jacuzzi. The beds were very comfortable and clean. โ
โClean well appointed rooms. Comfy bed. Solid AC and room was already at 67 when I arrived. Little patio with morning sun. Tea bag style coffee was different. Little hot tub (fits 4 tops). Didn't try the suana - not my thing. โ
โEnjoyed my weekend trip to Tahoe City. The location was great, after a full day out at the lake. Check in was quick, friendly. Once settled in my room walked the strip that has many options for dinner an shopping. Room was comfortable an at night it was very quiet. Check out was very simple with phenomenal service. I will definitely be coming back.โ
โThis is a ski and summer property, worn outside from ski boots tromping in and out but the room was clean and the views from the 7th floor are the best! The individual that checked us in was very accomodating. Jacuzzi tub didn't function but I didn't inquire about it, used it as a soaking tub. Make sure to park straight due to the tight spots.โ
โThe staff was incredibly helpful. There were many options for families on the grounds. The nightly fire pit was sโmores; the swimming pool; the putting green; all offered nice options.โ
โYou can pay for the breakfast meal thatโs served at 8 a.m. If you miss it, then you can make your own sandwich after 9 a.m. Laundry is available for free and communal areas are spacious and inviting.โ

โMy wife and I had an excellent experrience at the Donner/Truckee Lodge. The facility is very well maintained, and the room was spacious, clean and comfortable. And the free breakfast was a big plus.โ
