“Returned 40 years later from our 1st stay, when it was in its original ocean front location, to this 2025 stay. Classic, historic, dedicated beach access, lovely grounds, lush landscaping and gardens, and a great vibe. Rocking chairs and porch swings harken back to the good ‘ol days. Wonderful breakfasts by Chef Georgia, with eclectic culinary creations. Just love this ‘old woodie’ hotel in the original classic OBX architectural style.”

“have no complaints about my stay at the cypress moon inn, you cannot beat this place for the price. Location is beautiful, with a balcony that gives you a nice view of the sound side. Breakfast is some fruit and muffins, restocked each day. It's a light breakfast, perfect for starting your day. There's a Walmart nearby just in case you forget or need to pick up anything. “We had a pleasant stay. Our room had 2 beds and a sitting area with a full balcony. Continental breakfast had a lot of choices and snacks were always out. I would stay there again.”

“I can’t say enough great things about this place. I booked three nights originally and ended up staying an extra night, the location is central to most places, stores, restaurants etc. It’s right on the beach, which I love. There were breakfast snacks in the kitchen area every morning and happy hour at 4 every evening. Even with other visitors, we never heard them moving throughout the house so each suite has its privacy. It was clean and all amenities were provided. I would recommend this...

“THIS INN IS AN ABSOLUTE JEWEL ON ROANOKE ISLAND, AND COMING FROM ROANOKE, VIRGINIA I CAN TELL YOU FROM ONE ROANOKER TO ANOTHER, THIS IS THE BEST PLACE ON THE ISLAND TO STAY. THE STAFF WAS OUT OF THIS WORLD, THEY WERE SO NICE AND SO HELPFUL, AND THEY MADE ME FEEL RIGHT AT HOME! I WILL BE BACK!!!”
