The property is very dated, it appears that there is some attempt to improve such as recent paint in room. AC unit was leaking into the room. Grout was molded and separated between the wall and tub. No working exhaust fan in bathroom or place to hang clothes. Only amenities in the room were a small refrigerator, small microwave and TV. Several items were plugged into an extension cord which was dangling from the TV. The room curtains throughout the hotel are very old and falling apart. We will not stay at the location again.

American Inn - Near Fort McClellan

I arrived at 7:30 PM, but the office was not open. There is a number to call for service. I called, and the clerk/manager came to the window after about 15 rings. The room was clean and basic. It served its purpose. I left at 7:00 AM, and the window was locked tight. No key drop--so I just left.

Hotel was very dilapidated. We checked into our room. The smell was awful and the floor and ceilings were very dirty. There were several wall outlets with missing covers. There were missing vent covers in the bathroom ceiling with exposed wires. Paint in bathtub was peeling away and there was a cockroach smashed on one of the walls. The outside was noisy with people hanging out and drinking alcohol. Not a very safe place for any family.

Dirty, stained sheets, mold on the shower curtain, no fridge or microwave, hair in the shower, overall disgusting. There are prisons that have better accommodations.
