Dating to 1890 this was the local General store it is now a cafe with great burgers, pie and breakfast. The drive to and from it is also beautiful making it worthwhile.

We visited after a torrential downpour and the normal peaceful creek running through the park had become a raging, powerful current. Parts of the park were under water and the trails had turned into waterfalls.Rather than being disappointed, we found the storm's impact to be memorable, especially the swim-up picnic tables.

Went to the Whitaker Point Trail and the Hawksbill Crag. The walk was relatively easy and short, only 3 miles round trip.
