We had a great time staying at this hotel and will definitely stay here again! We were able to travel into San Francisco without any issues and wasn't too far way. The area is very quiet and the beach is beautiful. For being near the beach, you can't ask for anything else!

The ocean view was there but could see the back of the next building with a streetlight. The sound traveled from the room above, maybe our upstairs neighbor was an elephant. Overall great place to stay, obviously no pool or restaurant but that was not in the description, do we did not expect it. There was always a place to park in the hotel lot which was nice.

Cute renovated motel by the beach. Room was a little small but it was fine. Clean. We had an ocean view. Restaurants, shops and a coffee shop nearby. Elevator was a little scruffy. Could have used a new carpet. I forgot a comb and asked at front desk if they had one (hotels often have basic sundries at desk). Clerk looked at me like I was crazy. It would be nice if they had some items like toothbrushes, combs, razor… just in case someone forgot something. They sell snacks and drinks in lobby. Price was higher than usual as we stayed over Easter weekend. Beach is hard to get down to but there is a bridge to more accessible one (closed during our visit).
