"If you prefer nature and history, this location is perfect. Upon arrival it was a short walk from Paddington Station when travelling from Heathrow. Directly across the road from Hyde Park and a short walk to Kensington Palace, Royal Albert Hall, and Diana’s memorial. Having a tube station directly underneath the hotel was perfect for the novice London visitor. "Rooms incredibly small, w/o attempts to add shelving to ameliorate the problem. Shower system was archaic. The elevator was out all four days we were there and we had to tote our bags up and down 4 flts of stairs. This lack of maintenance was also apparent in the run down condition of the carpets and common area walls. "
