The staff is OUTSTANDING! We had the absolute best service we've ever experienced. From front desk - to waiters - to valets - to housekeeping - EVERYONE was very proactively involved in making sure our stay was perfect. The location is also excellent, with easy beach access, and lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance. A HUGE BONUS was the FREE valet parking! We've never experienced that before!! The only downside is the hotel itself. It's a bit old, and while it still feels somewhat luxurious, it comes across as pretty dated. The marble floors have cracks, the furnishings are pretty old school, and the overall vibe is a bit dark and heavy.

Nice hotel in a charming town.

The town is charming, the hotel is nice. It’s probably the best place to stay in the area. We had a bad view and they tried making it up to us, but the hotel was full. The room was nice, baths are a bit dated with beige marble, but overall a good value for relatively lower priced rooms.

Absolutely beautiful property. Staff even better. Could not have been more accommodating and friendly. Amy at the front desk is a complete pro and proactively identifies wats to make your stay more enjoyable. Perfect location. Small little additions like homemade pimento cheese and fresh baked cookies delivered to your room is a really nice touch. Spa, roof top bar and nice pool. Cannot more highly recommend the Pearl! Looking forward to our next visit.

The hotel was very clean, well maintained and well equipped. The location is also very centrally located and every place is pretty much of a walking distance. Very close to the beach and has beach access. The staff were very kind, welcoming and friendly. I also got text messages to check on my stay during the days I was there or to tell me that I have missed the nightly snacks/treats since my privacy light was on and that it was available anytime I would want to. I barely give reviews on my stay but I had to for this one since I highly recommend this place! Thanks Pearl Hotel and Hotels.com

It's all the special little touches

We stayed over for just one night. We are local and wanted a mini get away for our anniversary. The personal touches we experienced exceeded our expectations! Everyone was so friendly and made us feel very special. Kimmie at check-in was awesome. She asked the reason for our stay and once we got to our room she sent up a very sweet card and bottle of champagne. There were several more surprises you receive as a guest, but I don't want to spoil it for anyone! Our room was very comfortable and large. The balcony view of the cobblestone street is beautiful. The beach and pool amenities including chairs, sunscreen, aloe, towels, and water were also very nice.

First time here and the area is unique and we really enjoyed it. Walking out of the hotel and being surrounded by shops and restaurants and no cars was a treat. Great dining options. Hotel staff generally were 100% on top of things. Always smiling and helpful. Only thing was that our complimentary keurig was not replaced twice. We called downstairs and they actually sent us a nice fresh pot of coffee. Other thing was that we booked a town view and were given a room with a view of the back of other homes. I mentioned it and they said that it qualified as town view. Ugh. Otherwise it was great. Concierge was always helpful. Thanks Wendy Rooms are spacious and plenty of drawers. Nice robes beach bag with towels for beach. Yoga mat in room. We plan to be back.

Extraordinary and Unique beach hotel experience.

I have stayed at many hotels up and down the Florida coast so I can say with experience and certainty that The Pearl is a true hidden gem. From the minute you step out of your car until the sad moment when you have to leave you are treated like royalty. The customer service is over the top spectacular with the most genuine smiles and a real helpfulness that make you feel special and happy to be sharing the hospitality of their auberge. The town is truly unique as it transports you to a European village with one of the most gorgeous beaches in Florida. The hotel restaurant Havana Grill has combined extraordinary Cuban cuisine with an ambiance that takes you back to the feeling of a quaint little rum bistro back in Cuba. The whole vibe of the hotel is warm and friendly. The rooms were amazingly clean and provide you with all the added extras to make you feel personally pampered from homemade cookies to cleaner for your glasses. The soap and shampoo smell divine and the beds are heavenly comfortable. I cannot say enough good things about this hidden slice of paradise along the Emerald coast. Except that I cannot wait to go back...
