“Fabulous experience and highlight of our 3 weeks in Europe. Beautiful castle, fabulous dinner and breakfast and the experience was lovely and regal with our maître D. The grounds and historic site added to the weekend. Played tennis and will have to come back to enjoy the pool and hot tub when it is not raining. They are renovating some as well, but this is a well preserved piece of history while still have the charm you would expect from a castle. Better than all the modernized chateau’s.”

“I had an amazing time at this place, from the really friendly staff to the heated pool, and the fantastic decoration of the lobby, room, and breakfast area. Air conditioning was also appreciated this summer. The management has a very good vision and made a real effort in providing a wonderful experience. Breakfast is very complete and includes local healthy (and not so healthy…but very tasty) products. I got great recommendations for dining.”

“Perfect. All staff of hotel was so kind and helpful. The castle was so lovely, and well managed. Breath-taking view and super delicious meals. Everyone should stay this castle.”

“We booked 2 twin rooms through expedia and when we arrived we were told that only one room was booked Two of us had to get a single room at an extra cost of just under 30 euros each I spoke to the manager the next morning and he is blaming expedia and told me i must ring them to get a refund I feel like i have been fobbed off”

“Good breakfast”

“Location and parking was good. Receptionist was grumpy. Room has see better days. The window could not be locked, there was no air conditioning and room needed redecorating. No English speaking channel on TV. Breakfast from 7 am. No cooked breakfast eg scrambled eggs,bacon. Bar was at property but not serving drinks. I requested ice cubes for water drinks but not available. At best it was basic.”
