"This was my second stay at The Stables Inn. The property is a charming renovated motor court hotel with cute, clean rooms, great fire pits. They have snacks on hand including s'mores kits for your hang at the fire pits, and they sever a simple breakfast. Had a lovely evening watching the lunar eclipse and had great conversations that evening with some other groups of guests from around the world. Beds are comfortable. Location makes it easy to walk around town. If you are in the area for wine tasting or to explore Paso Robles this is a good location at a good price point for your home base."

"What a pleasant surprise to stumble upon this great hotel! The room I had was most comfortable and spacious, with a separate living room area and workplace to set up my laptop. Great shower n the bathroom. The environment was most attractive throughout the grounds and hotel ... felt like staying at a vineyard.I opted to stay in and get a bite to eat at their restaurant. I gotta say, I was really impressed with the gourmet tuna sandwich I ordered, not to mention the heaping serving of hot, delicious, herbed French fries! Wow! The breakfast buffet was a nice touch, although it suffered the typical challenges of staying fresh and hot. The offerings were varied: scrambled eggs, pork sausage patties, bacon, toast, oatmeal, waffles (which you can make fresh), cold cereals, yogurt, etc. The juice machine was out of order. Overall, I was most satisfied with the service, cleanliness, and environment. I would highly recommend staying here!"
