"Fabulous hotel made to feel welcome as soon as we entered the bar on a busy Sunday lunchtime! The landlord let us check in early the room overlooked the bar garden and nice rural views! Lovely really pub with a selection of real ales! Will be return in the near future! Ingelton is a pretty place. The breakfast is delicious good quality ingredients. Ideal for families. "

It’s an easy stroll to the Yorkshire Dales Visitor Centre, and there’s a beautiful 4.5‑mile loop walk along the river that brings you back through Grass Wood Nature Reserve. "Great location, friendly owner and house keeper, well maintained with a cosy homely feel. The kitchen was well equiped for self catering and the home was kept warm for our autumnal stay. Towels were provided as were gowns and slippers which were a thoughtful addition for the use of the hot tub. A much appreciated basket of goodies greeted us on arrival. Would happily return."

All the staff were so kind and accommodating, and the food was delicious and generous portions. Only place open for dinner in the evening so be sure to reserve! Highly highly recommend. "
