“We stayed one night at the hotel The restaurant was very nice and we both enjoyed our meals there , both dinner and breakfast. the room we booked was a superior room, we were a little surprised to find 2 bunkers in the room (as well as the king bed) but it was quite spacious in the room so it was ok.”
“Of course the setting is the main attraction. The hotel is is a beautiful, grand, rural home, set by the lake, so its location and views are exceptional.
The hotel is a bit quirky and creaky as you would expect but some areas are tired and not as clean as they could be, sadly.
The staff were polite and efficent enough but not especially engaging. That said we didnt really need anything, so our interactions were limited”
“This has to be the craziest room I've ever stayed in, in a good way.
The floors were sloped the furniture was sloping in line with the floors. Bed comfy amd bathroom was nice and clean.
If you are after a quirky stay then this place is for you.”
