"There were many things not fixed up! Our chair in the bedroom had car was all messed up! The tables in the area to eat at was a messy. Terrible"

"Staff was friendly and helpful, and the property is kept clean. However, it's one of those instances when a space looks nice until you look a little closer. Stained bedding, FLAT pillows, rust on the door frame of the bathroom (no vent in there, either), caulking around the shower pan worn away, along with other wear, tear, and mysterious marks on various surfaces. All around, a decent stay for the price, but I hope they're able to do some fix-ups and updates soon."

"The room was clean, the pool was really nice and I got to bring my little dog to enjoy the stay with me. The ac worked great in the room and housekeeping was great and helpful. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great with lots of options and the local made ice cream was delicious. Plenty of parking and patio spaces to chill outside and good wifi signal. 10/10 will stay again in the future."

"5 star stay at the Distill Inn in the center of the quaint town of Bardstown, KY! Greeted upon arrival by the wonderfully outgoing front desk staff. Shoutout to both Mary and Mary for the warmest welcome’s! We stayed for a week for my work trip and felt so welcomed and well rested! Lovely breakfast offerings and our favorite was the Keurig machine with all of the gourmet coffee and hot chocolate drinks available 24/7, as well as the pickleball court and the bourbon decor and aesthetics of the main entryway and sitting area. The room was very clean, towels and bathroom stocked as well as the kitchenette area with microwave, individual coffee maker and mini fridge. Dog friendly and overall wonderful environment in a lovely town!"

"We were not warned that the place was being remodeled. The rooms were not set up as advertised do to the remodel. The pool was a patio. Location was so so. It is a working man's weekly hotel. The food area had a B rate from the state. Overall not horrible but...I will say management did try making the place look good. The staff was excellent."

"We reserved a double room. Upon assignment it was found 1/2 cleaned. There were no sheets on the beds, no towels, & the floors were dirty, so they reassigned us quickly to a king/twin room. That room was clean & just as pictured online. It would be a great place for a peaceful weekend stay. The surroundings are serene. The walkways can be tricky, as can be the steps, due to the age of the property. Keep this in mind if there are stability concerns."
