“The La Monastica resort was a wonderful place with a staff who were exceptionally welcoming, pleasant and helpful. The room was nice and the bed was very comfortable. The location and grounds were beautiful with some modern influences in decor but really maintaining the overall old world charm and aesthetic of the monastery. We really enjoyed time in the bar playing cards and drinking some great cocktails.”

“The staff were friendly, the room was clean, the pool was limited but decent and the breakfast was good.”

“Loved the beautiful room and the attentive staff, the location is close to the Monticontini Centrale train and the town center . Did not use the pool but the area looked wonderful . FYI they charge a small fee to use pool towels . Breakfast was good , large selection of hot and cold foods.”

“The bathroom sink smelled when we opened the water. It was very disgusting washing up. At night we smelled food and sewer in all the bathroom. It needs major renovations”

“Great location, beautiful hotel, delicious restaurant indoor and outdoor, very enjoyable spa with pools.”

“Beautiful peaceful location but only 20 minutes from Lucca, very friendly staff and delicious breakfast. Room spacious and comfortable with a great view. Swimming pool great a really relaxing stay. Restaurant next door also very good food 😊”

“it was just so so and normal”

“Very beautiful and great food!”
