This bed-and-breakfast was wonderful. Very high-end linen, towels and finishes. It was clean. It was beautiful and Rose was so accommodating and lovely. I would highly recommend you stay here. Food was wonderful too.

Great host, Rose cares about her guests you can tell that right away. The room we stayed in was beautiful, the cleanest I think I’ve ever stayed in and it was fully stocked with soaps, coffee & even makeup wipes for my wife. Rose accommodated dietary restrictions for our breakfast no problem. The perfect place to stay for couples visiting Port Hope and looking for something a bit more special than a hotel. Summertime would be even better.

Rose keeps a lovely property and is incredibly welcoming :-) She prepared us a fantastic breakfast in the morning. We spent the night in her gorgeous Suite Room on the second floor, which was quiet, beautifully appointed, and spotlessly clean. Will definitely stay again next time we visit Port Hope. Highly recommended.

Nice stay at Plantation B&B

My wife and I visited Plantation House B&B for a night and absolutely loved it. It is located within walking distance of Port Hope downtown area and the room itself is very nice. The room is clean, ventilated and comfortable. The bathroom is well stocked and has a nice Jacuzzi. The host was very friendly... served us hot breakfast and made us feel at ease.

The home has been tastefully restored and decor is exquisite. Furnishings are comfortable with like-new linens & bathrobes all lending to the luxurious feel of the place. We were a bit taken aback when we discovered our bathroom was off a common area - though still private, it was unexpected to find the 2nd floor guests exiting through the same area we tiptoed through to access it! Wear a bathrobe unless you don’t mind parading in pyjamas. 😊

Our hostess Rose was lovely, a terrific cook, happy, pleasant, and very thoughtful. Breakfasts were so special and delicious, presented on beautiful table ware in a bright room with windows overlooking the green gardens. There is a lovely back porch where we enjoyed our time overlooking more beautiful gardens. Our room was quaint, cozy, and comfortable. The AC works very well and fans keep air circulating around the farmhouse beautifully. The bed was a dream to sleep on. Sheets and bath linens are very high quality with lovely soaps, bath salts, hair products for our use. Parking is on site and convenient. Walking to the shops and restaurants took about 5-8 minutes. We would definitely book again and will be sending recommendations to our friends!

This is a lovely BnB, spotlessly clean and comfortable, surrounded by beautiful grounds, yet in close proximity to the downtown.
