Philadelphia, Pennsylvania hotel rooms at the Omni

"The "hotel" was under construction, but seemed like it was in the middle of a conversion to a hotel from an apartment building, with makeshift check-in counters on the mezzanine level. The room was very large (we had a king suite) but the furniture was very low end and nicked-up. Mattress very stiff/uncomfortable. Neither of the remotes for the televisions worked properly, so we had to have a tech come up to fix them as well. Both body wash and shampoo dispensers in the shower we empty. Kitchen had some very low-end dishes and silverware, but no bottle opener or any other stuff. Sticky stuff on floor of kitchen. Just an overall low-end experience, definitely not worth of a 4 star rating or an overall customer rating of 8.8. "

"The room was clean and spacious but the carpet, tile and wallpaper was outdated and worn. There were renovations going on while we were there but that didn’t affect our stay in any way. The staff was friendly. The location was a little suspicious. "

"Everything about this place deserves 5 stars even down to the staff everyone has been very pleasant helpful & easy to communicate & deal with they make me & my children stay here very comfortable!! I will always recommend this hotel to somebody when in search of a good hotel to stay at in the city. Best of the best hands down"

"Selected for location, it was nearby hospital. Pleasantly greated. Room as described online, except no iron, ironing board, bathroom mirror too close to faucet, NO HOT WATER IN THE MORNING. "

"The staff was very good: attentive, helpful, and very quick responses when needed. The rooms, though, were not great. The AC/heating unit runs 100% of the time and it is LOUD. Even when the unit was turned off using the wall control, the fan continued to run 24/7. "
