"This was my third stay at The Cherry Tree and it is rapidly becoming my go-to when I need to stay over near Harwell. It is very conveniently located, the rooms are clean and surprisingly large. The pub itself has some atmosphere and the staff has always been really friendly. Amenities are basic as you would expect, but I think they provide really decent value for money."

"I booked this room last minute as I was let down by a booking at another hotel where the hotel was closed when I got there! A room was ready when I arrived minutes later. The hotel has a lot of character and the quick continental breakfast was just what I needed when I was working. What made this place stand out was all the staff were super friendly and helpful. So much so that when silly me left my credit card at the counter when I was leaving they very kindly posted it back to my home address which saved a lot of faff cancelling my old card. "Lovely stay at a genuine village pub, not a restaurant with rooms or a hotel with a bar, this is the real thing. Beautifully furnished rooms, amazing staff and service and fantastic atmosphere, and Blewbury is beautiful. The Ukrainian menu has to be tried! We loved also that the dog was as welcome as we were."
