“The room was huge. It is an older room so the floors creak, which I did hear my neighbors walking around. There was a bar and restaurant downstairs which I decided not to eat at. Looked like it wasn’t very busy, so I drove into fort William which was about 15 minutes away and had more options for food. You have to check in at the castle down the road, staff was friendly. Bathroom had some gunk on the sink when I came in. It wiped right up. Overall great place and would stay again. ”

“Balnearn House is a lovely B&B in a small village. The rooms are comfortable and there was a nice garden area. There were a couple of nice restaurants & pubs within walking distance. The owners are very friendly. We would definitely stay here again.”

“Although this property is small, the people running it are big hearted. We were driving from Isle of Skye on a very stormy day when we received message from Mark and Louisa to inform us that we could checkin earlier as they did not want us to be waiting in the storm until checkin time. We were quite touched by the gesture. The free parking was very convenient. The room was clean and well decorated. The toilet + shower were modern and comfortable. Excellent breakfast with homemade everything....

“The room and bathroom (2 adults, 2 kids) were quite spacious and very clean. Water pressure was excellent. comfortable bed. Hands down, the thing we loved most were the two gentlemen staff/bar tenders in the main floor bar. I mentioned to the first one that I just wanted to see highland cows- he called up a friend and sent us down the street to a local farm for an up-close. The second one gave us many great tips and suggestions for our travels. We loved sitting in the spacious bar area each...
