“Nice big apartment a short walk to the beach and in a peaceful location. Not too far from a Spar, restaurant, pharmacy and petrol station. You need to drive though. A little maintenance required as one of the hotplates didn't work.”

“Self catering room in cottage pie needs a renovation . The windows lead onto the street,so this would make it a security issue if one would like to sit outside. The bedroom is dark and gloomy the bathroom had a broken light. The overall facilities and the staff were very good ”

“It is a magnificent property with great facilities. Well located enough. But Plattenberg is a plain soulless residential seaside town. No quality in terms of restaurants. The property is closed to shops, cafés and beach (if you don’t mind the very steep hike back). ”

The only disappointment we had was the pool which is very small and in a public area without guest lounging space so we felt uncomfortable to use it. The breakfast was fantastic and great value as it was included and the breakfast restaurant area is beautiful, again with lovely views however service was very slow. ”

Das Hotel ist hübsch, hat insgesamt nur 37 Zimmer auf 2 Gebäude (plus 2 kleinen Cottages) verteilt. Die Einrichtung ist relativ schlicht und mutet mit seinen vielen Blautönen schon fast nordisch an.
