This is a decent hotel located on a very beautiful beach. The hotel itself is fine. Not spectacular, but pleasant. It's a solid 4-star hotel. For the price, it's beachfront location makes it a good value. The view out the window is spectacular. It's located within easy walking distance of many fun restaurants along the beach. The hotel has several day beds on the beach that you can only use if you pay for them. They don't let you reserve the day beds, so you need to go out and claim them early. Breakfast was ok. Many people enjoy the restaurant on the bottom floor of the hotel. I found it to be ok. Good, but not amazing.

Nice hotel, at the beach with beautiful view. Very good breakfast and helpful employees. Quiet area and easy access to most needed shops, bus and food . Good access to strand promenade to walking /jogging along the coast. Good value in total.

Rooms are decent size - small fridge in room - would have expected a couple of bottles of water to be initially provided. Staff helpful and polite. Breakfast was very average - the hot selection was poor - although you could request a cooked omelette which was ok. Only one coffee machine that’s wasn’t working first day. Roof top pool is quite small - but was very quiet when we stayed - so wasn’t an issue… last day it was shut for maintenance (wasn’t informed when booked) Location good - direct access to small beach - although 25euros per subbed is a total rip-off - so didn’t use. A couple of supermarkets local to the hotel, along with a few restaurants. The Road outside hotel very busy!

Fantastic holiday

We had a wonderful stay, easy check in and check out. Breakfast was good and the staff were friendly and helpful. Pool area was very clean. Rooms cleaned daily. Nice wee bar /restaurant at beach level that did lovely pizza

Nice enough hotel with access to a reasonably quite clean beach out back. Pros: Comfy rooms with beautiful views particularly at sunset. Good enough breakfast offering /Very pleasant and helpful reception staff at all times. Cons! - traffic too and from Split town heavy and long delays getting to and fro depending on time of travel! Though its a mere 5km journey! - ludicrous rule by the hotel where one cannot sit on their terrace area down by the beach (owing to some “incomplete paperwork’” we were told- lots of seats sitting there redundant large sofas and tables and chairs for some 50+ persons yet we were reliably informed the police would be called if we sat there! Hard to fathom any logic here! - be aware guests have to pay 20euro daily (for 2) for sun loungers (normally 40 euros). I would have thought this would be free for staying guests. - breakfast food servicing good though somewhat spoilt by the consistently grumpy waitress working there daily - it was not just a bad day -it’s was 5 days in a row of such demeanour/ service! Definitely not a happy camper! - elevator was out of service on day of arrival and again on day of departure! No fun when staying on level 1 and you access the beach via level -4! Lots of steps!

The hotel is great, clean, nice staff, nice beach but the surrounding area has a lot of traffic, so it takes a lot of time to arrive at and to leave the hotel throughout the day.

We had a very relaxing stay. Overall the service was good. The TV in our room didnt work and the reception manager came to assist, was very thorough and offered us the room next door when the issue couldn't be resolved. Great views, super clean, good breakfast.

Superb!!!

Great hotel, perfect location, everything is so stylish. Rooms are perfect, good breakfast. The staff are very nice and welcoming. The rooftop pool is astonishing, great view and literally on the beach. Couldn't ask for more

Excellent facilities, all rooms sea view right next to the actual beach front less than (15meters). Staff all genuinely polite & helpful. Hotel via uber average 16mins travel into Central split town centre (cheaper than calling a direct taxi almost half the price. Optional bus service very cheap with bus top 5mins walkway. Highly recommended location of stay for both families and couples. Marina near by walking distance to bars, restaurants, local supermarket shop, coffee shop. Water sports hire facility on beach and near by excursions booking office less 10min walk away.

Comfortable enough. Room was okay, flooring seemed a polymer type that was not comfortable if you did not wear slippers. Scene was beautiful as we had sea view. Hotel overall strikes me more as a 3.5*. Did the job though.

Very nice

A pleasant stay lasting 3 nights. Well equipped for beach, bathing in the rooftop pool and tanning. Hard to get refreshments as bars were mostly closed at the hotel. Maybe due to the time period as the season was ending? Breakfast was underwhelming. Not a superb selection, machine coffee was dreadful. Good selection if your breakfast preference is yoghurt-based. All of the hotel staff we met were super.

Good overall Friendly staff Small hotel. Great views on the beach 1. AC did not work . I found out that I have to tell front counter to turn it in?! 2. No soap or shampoo in bathroom 3. People partying at 2am in the morning on breach - adjacent property - could not sleep. Overall. I think if the above is addressed. Good hotel for the money.

The hotel was lovely. I chose it for the seafront location and I was not disappointed! The sunsets from the hotel are absolutely stunning. The best thing about it, in my opinion!!! My terrace was right by the sea and the room was huge! The sea is crystal clear here but the beach is all pebbles. The hotel's rooftop restaurant serves delicious food with the most beautiful views and I also had a nice massage in the spa. The bed was comfortable and the mini bar/fridge is a nice touch in the room. Most of the staff at the hotel were friendly too. Breakfast offered a nice variety (loved the mini muffins!) and there were some seats outside too. Podstrana itself seemed quite small (there was a convenience store or two and a couple of fast food stands and one tiny souvenir shop on the harbour but not much else nearby), but it was lovely and peaceful for just a couple of nights peace-and-quiet stay, before I headed off to Split centre for the rest of my week to explore more and attend a hen do.
