"Quite disappointed. The hotel in general was pleasant. But the pool area wasn’t kept clean every day & there was tissues left for three days & not swept away. Our room wasn’t swept each day as we would return to find the same rubbish on the floor after a clean. Bathroom taps not cleaned off & toilet not cleaned & flushed. But bed very comfortable & breakfast very nice! "

"Great location, close to everything, pool was good, albeit it was low season but having 4 of them meant you probably always get a lounge no matter what time of year it is! Spa in the room is a great touch, although loud, it was comfortable. Room wasn’t spotless on arrival, bathroom had a slight odour but that is expected with all the humidity and a fan that could use a proper clean up! Bed was comfortable, air con was great, fridge was very cold, froze a few beers so had to be adjusted, water pressure was great. Staff were friendly and welcoming."

"Staff were so welcoming and helpful, they really went out of their way to make our stay feel special. The room was beautiful and very clean. A nice touch was the on tap sparkling and chilled water in the corridor. "

"We were a bit early checking but it was no problem. Parking is underground and free. Washer/dryers are shared between 2 apartments and are also free. Within walking distance of the main shopping and dining area as well as 4-mile beach and the pier. "

"Great hotel, with location close to 4 mile beach, and port Douglas centre. Swim up bar is a must try. "

"Excellent location, a 3 minute walk to the top of the main street or 4 minute walk to the beach. The room was a good size with a small kitchenette plus a sofa and the essential air con'. There was also a barbeque area and a small pool with water at a perfect temperature! The lady running the place is lovely and helpful. The only negative for us was the bathroom is quite small, a bit dated and the air con' doesn't make it in there and it did get pretty warm in there. However we would definitely stay there again and do recommend."

"Great location, just off the Main Street near restaurants & shops but also well located for the beach. Good sized & well equipped one bedroom apartment. Covered terrace, good ac, fans, washing machine & dryer. Comfy bed and it’s nice & quiet. No lift but it’s not a problem. Underground car parking. Lovely pool & sunbeds. WiFi was quite variable, it worked well in the bedroom but less so on the terrace. Could do with a deep clean. On the surface it was fine but the washing machine was very dusty, same with inside of lampshades, drawers in the bathroom need wiping & some cutlery needed washing up before we could use it. Supplied with toiletries, washing up liquid & dishwasher tablets & a sachet of washing powder."
