The front desk staff was friendly, polite, and very efficient during check-in, which made for a great first impression. Unfortunately, the rest of our stay was very disappointing. The room was not clean. The carpet had multiple sticky spots, the toilet was dirty, and there was hair in both the bathroom and the bathtub, making it seem like the room hadn’t been properly cleaned before our arrival. We were only there for about six hours to get a quick nap before continuing our trip, so we didn’t spend much time in the room. The next morning we went to the complimentary breakfast, but the selection was very limited. What really prompted us to leave, however, was seeing the employee stocking the food visibly picking his nose while handling the breakfast area. That was unacceptable and immediately caused us to lose our appetite. The courteous front desk staff was the only positive part of our experience. Overall, the cleanliness of the room and the lack of food-handling hygiene made this a stay we would not recommend.

The room was spotless. The staff is also very nice. They’ve updated a lot of stuff, the beds are comfy and they have smart tvs now. The only complaint I have is that the water temperature could be way better. Wanted to take a hot bath but the water only got lukewarm. I wouldn’t even want to take a shower, in that type of water temperature. But overall a good experience.

The hotel was very nice and clean. We stayed two nights and loved that our dog friendly room was near an exit and had a sliding glass door to let her out as well as unload the car. Fabulous! The breakfast was decent. Fun to walk through the halls of the hotel and see the placards with the famous people who slept there in the past with the movie posters accompanying the signage. The hotel is close to many of the great attractions in Canon City.

The hot water was luke warm. The rooms were very dated. Water didnt drain in the bathtub. The carpet was coming up in the hallways and the bar was pretty loud.
