“Michael at the front desk was awesome and very helpful. The internet was spotty and the pool was closed. Room was clean but in need of new carpet”

“The motel was directly across the street from the Royal Gorge Train Depot...easily walkable, although there is also lots of free parking at the Depot. Several restaurants also in walking distance, The room has been updated and was very nice. The manager gave us a late checkout of an extra hour to accommodate our schedule. Would be very pleased to stay here again!”

“Our stay was very disappointing. The towels provided were extremely thin, had holes in them, and the bath mat was one of the towels that were provided to shower. In the shower, there was an old bar of soap left in the top corner, making it seem like the bathroom hadn’t been cleaned properly before our arrival. The bed sheets had numerous yellow stains, which made them appear dirty and unsanitary. The toilet had old worn-out stains, and the pillows were yellowed as well. Overall, the cleanliness...

“My room was actually pretty clean. I was surprised the bathtub was nice and clean no soaps scum on it. The only thing I would suggest is make sure you check underneath the bed for dust bunnies and loose socks we did find somebody else's underneath there. Besides that I have no complaints at all.”

“You're better off spending your money elsewhere. Between the horrible check in process, the filth in the lobby and gym, and the inability to access my room upon check in, the room rate did not match the lack of hospitality provided. The view was nice, but we will not return to this property.”

“Was really excited to stay here on our roadtrip and hate to say we left disappointed especially at the price point we paid for one night. Our “Mountain View” room was just trees and an exclusive view of trash behind the motel. The property itself is nowhere near the river as they try to sell it but that’s my fault for not investigating that more. Lastly, the photos showed beautiful live flower baskets all over the property and upon arrival was really sad to see those were all now fake flowers...

“I loved the property! It was clean and everyone was so nice! The property is adorable as well. The complimentary breakfast is amazing! I've never had one with breakfast burritos and breakfast sandwiches. We only ate 1 out of the 3 mornings we stayed there because breakfast is over at 9:00 a.m. and we don't wake up until 9:30 or 10:00 when on vacation. One complaint though, I am a light sleeper and my room was on the ground floor near the complimentary breakfast area (Room 101 or 102) and I was...
