The staff and room were decently clean and the facilities were clean. The food at best was mediocre but there was a BBQ with fresh meat and veg everyday so I mostly ate that which was tasty! If you have dietary restrictions or allergies I’m not sure how knowledgeable the staff is on that so might be risky. Although the staff was generally kind, they were quite disorganized. It took over 2 hours to check in - our rooms weren’t ready and the key to our room didn’t work. The bell boy had to go back and forth to try to get the key fixed - we waited for almost 40 mins by our room just to wait for the key. It was a big waste of time, but the bell boy was apologetic. We ended up being moved to a different room. My sisters electricity stopped working and she had to remind the front desk 3 times that her electricity was not working. She moved to an upgraded suite and then the electrician finally arrived - which was too late because she was already in the middle of moving rooms. She asked if we could keep her room for an extra couple days which they agreed to but the information wasn’t transferred to the other staff and no notes were written in her file. This lead to her going back and forth to the front desk multiple times and talking to different people. Big waste of time when you’re on vacation trying to relax on the beach. It was a headache. But all in all a decent place to stay if you just want to relax and eat all day. Decent area as well - felt very safe and lots of facilities.

Ocean view room was great. I was not met by any staff helping with my baggage so it was an exercise to find my room. Food was very good. Mostly ate at the buffet. A bit too much towle saving

My stay was great. Room was clean everyday, the staff were wonderful. Cesar, Isaid and Bernardo made great drinks and I never had to order as they knew what I wanted. It would have been nice to have 2 working elevators in main tower however walking to the 4th floor wasn’t that. Just felt bad for the staff that had to wait all the time to do their job. I will be back again. Darryl

Rooms are dated but very nice. Beds super comfy. Staff was very accommodating when we had to stay an extra night. They just moved us to a new room in the morning. the 3 complaints I have at this hotel is the pool loungers, beach area and adult buffet area. Pool loungers get hogged early in the morning. And a lot of people would go put their stuff out even by midnight. And then are not even used by most. There will be a towel and a hat on a lounge chair or a bed, and no one will come use them all day. And then guest who are using the pool, do not have anywhere to sit. Management needs to step up on this. There isn't enough space for the amount of guests they have. The beach would be a great place to grab a lounge chair and sit and enjoy but there is barely any umbrellas to hide from the sun if you need a bit of rest from it. Put more umbrellas out there and the beach would be used a lot more.The buffet... dear lord. If you want breakfast, you better be waking up early to have it. Because once your a little later, there is a line up about a mile long to be seated. Buffet area is very small. Lunch and dinner was not bad, but breakfast..good luck. we opted to eat out every morning instead of wait an hour in line just to get breakfast. No complaints about the food. It was amazing. something to eat for every picky eater out there. And if your still complaining, stay home and cater to yourself :) Overall, it was a good 4 days spent there. I would stay again if the price was right

My check in was an hours late upon arrival. So not a great start. The bathroom of the waiting area has a ceiling leak and towels on the floor. Once I eventually got into my room, that bathroom had no ventilation and there was mold on the walls and the toilet seat was mounted crooked. The AC was also not working well. The food was lacking in flavour. The manager, Mr Ochoa did contact me and offered a reservation for one of the hotel restaurants (which was already included in my stay). Their remedy for the bathroom was just to paint over the mold so the bathroom smelt like paint for the rest of the trip. Mr Ochoa said he would be “bringing something” to my room but never followed up with me. I wouldn’t recommend this resort to anyone and I’d actually like a refund or a reduced rate.

Facility offered great amenities, staff were very friendly and on top of everything, facilities were clean and well maintained. Overall a fun and relaxing trip with lots of extra activities for the average couple. Enjoyed the size of the resort and the layout was easy to navigate. Would recommend and will come back!

Rooms not taken care of broken safe broken faucet loose shower handle, lamp didn't work, curtains barely hanging. Need umbrellas at beach. Nice beach. Antonia is great!Food is bland. Meat is often tough. Drinks are plenty.

Took a couple of hours to get into the room and a few things needed to be fixed, broken toilet seat and a light out. They fixed it right away , so all good Food was really good as there was always something we could find. Staff were amazing!

While the bed was very comfortable and allowed for great sleep, the room itself felt outdated. The shower handle felt loose, like it might fall off, and the internet was unreliable. The elevators also took a long time. With some updates and improvements, this hotel could offer a much better experience

Resort is older but very clean. Location is great, beach is great , views from resort are great. The staff are awesome and make us feel so welcome, the reason we have been back 4 times the last couple years.

Our room wasn’t ready when we arrived at 5pm. Went our room around 6:30 pm when it was ready, and discovered no plug for jacuzzi tub. So down stairs we go, again and we tell the front desk and he says he will send a maintenance guy out didn’t know when. So we go back up to our room to unpack we discover edthat we have no hot water, so downstairs we go, again because are phone in our room doesn’t work.let front desk know didn’t seem to care and said they send the maintenance guy but didn’t know what day. So back up stairs we go again, we go sit out on our balcony with the jacuzzi tub, no hot water and we watch the beautiful sunset afterwards we go to go inside to discover ther is no door handle on the the sliding door to get back inside. After 15 to 20 min later we got in. Told them about it next morning,they found it pretty funny and said they would send the maintenance guy up but didn’t know when. And there so much construction work going on we were hardly able to use the elevator because they were using it all the time, the noise of the construction workers was terrible I wished I had known about this a head of time, I would not have gone on this trip. Also the lady from grey line was so rude to us it was unbelievable, I’ve had great experience with Expedia in the past, but this time is making me think I should go back to my travel agent. I honestly don’t think anyone should have to experience this with the money we spend. I get better treatment from the Americans. Respond
