Tropical Deluxe Princess was a nice stay and somewhat accommodating. However the lights kept going out. The WiFi sucks. The buffets was ok but the food needs to be more covered and not so open to prevent contamination and easy spoilage. For the most part Customer Service was pretty good. Over all we had a nice time.
The scenery was nice.

The hotel itself was nice and had great amenities, but the staff was not attentive at all. Multiple times we had to seat ourselves, and no one came by to take our drink orders — staff just walked right past us. The beach was only decent on the last day; the rest of the time it was full of seaweed. Everything was overcrowded, and we were never able to get a pool lounge chair because people left towels to reserve them all day. It was frustrating to see staff standing around, flirting, taking shots, and hanging out with young girls instead of doing their jobs.

The waitresses were very rude to me, for no reason. I’m a tourist and maybe it’s because I don’t Spanish. But it made me feel not welcome the way they treated me. The resort was very nice and they did their best to clean the beach. The room was nice and the cleaningladies, did a good job with cleaningservice.

We just got back from a week stay in a family room. We have traveled to multiple destinations and all inclusive resorts and below are a few things I wish I knew before going. First the good points. The property is very pretty. The wildlife is beautiful and very friendly. Bartenders, ice cream shop and coffee shops are all very friendly and had good service. The best part of the resort is the kid club the lady was extremely nice and my normally shy daughter loved it and begged to go there a little each day. Pools are kept clean Now the not so good. The Wi-Fi doesn’t work well at all and you have to use the ap to book reservations which makes eating anything other than the buffet for dinner difficult. The shower leaked into the toilet room. They have the ac set not to go lower than 68 and with the humidity and temperature the rooms was warmer than 70 at night. Had a hard time getting towels in the room 2 days it was after 5pm before they had towels back from laundry to restock the room. No wash rags are available. The restaurants are by reservation only and are small so it is hard to get reservations. Food is okay, but you could pay to upgrade your dinner for $65 a steak or pork chop. Approached multiple times by sales team to go meet about timeshare and wouldn’t take no for an answer until you are rude. Beach had a ton of seaweed that was not cleaned off the beach, so don’t expect a clean beach until fall according to workers. Refrigerator didn’t work

The property was ok. I was hoping they would've had more for kids since they sell the kids play pool so much and bowling and shows. The bowling in the bar is additional cost, which wasnt said and the kids zone closes at 5pm. Other than dinner nothing else to do when traveling with kids. The show was a big screen tv with a kids dance video wasnt even an actual show. The pool was good. The towel hut is a bit of a walk from the kids pool. Very inconvenient. They should have another one on each side. The food was meh, if your hoping for true dominican food, dont come here. We went to El Pilon which was suppose to be authentic dominican food. We requested platano maduros (which was on the menu) our server kept saying there was none and would chuckle (in a sarcastic way) when we requested really anything, so rude. The ONLY server that was awful. It took asking another server to get us some and he did it with so much love. The Italian restaurant was God AWFUL. Dont waste your time. The Japanese was the best, unfortunately. Wanted some true authentic DR food. Oh well. The room was spacious but the sheets were old and had pilled so bad they all felt disgusting. Requested new sheets and it was slightly better. I just slept with leggings and socks to not feel it. They serviced everyday, was fine. The service though was A+. Everyone was soooo kind. Made some of the crappy stuff we experience a bit better with the service. All in all, will not return or recommend for families.

We absolutely loved this property the first time we went in 2022 for our honeymoon but this trip we had some maintenance issues that weren’t taken serious and definitely made it less appealing. Also had a bit of rough time with ocean due to the seaweed lining the beach but heard that’s normal for the time of year we went this time. Would return again in hopes it gets better.

The Room was beautiful and clean. The air conditioner couldn't be lower than 20, but it worked just fine. Upon your arrival, you are given a map with all the facilities (the bars, the pools, the snack bar and ice cream shop and everything !) There are a lot of chairs by the pool and on the beach, all quite comfortable. The bartenders know most of the drinks and you could even refill your water bottles with your alcoholic beverages!! The water they serve you at the dinner hall and the bars is bottled water too. The food was okay, but I went there with low expectations. The desserts though, they were amazing ! There's peacocks, cats, iguanas and différents type of birds running around the hotel grounds, it was beautiful to see.

I like the cost of my stay. I didn’t like that housekeeping was stingy with giving towels for the room. I had a family room with 5 members. Everyday I had to ask for towels. They would only give me 5 big dry off towels and no face or body towels. When I asked for more housekeeping had an attitude. I also didn’t like that you had to make reservations at some of the restaurants on property.

Muy buen precio y bien ubicado, cerca del aeropuerto y de las principales atracciones. Tiene buena variedad de restaurantes y amenidades para toda la familia. Super recomendable!

Nos gustó el área de piscina para niños (tipo chapoteadero), el playground y las facilidades en general. Pudimos disfrutar de los animalitos en los alrededores y lo familiar del lugar. Lo que no nos gustó fue que en nuestro cuarto no se sentía el aire acondicionado, de hecho a veces parecía como si lo hubieran apagado. Por otro lado, tampoco se sentía el aire acondicionado en el área de niños (club de niños). Y aunque sabemos que es verano, ssufrimos el calor estando en áreas cerradas. Por otro lado, tampoco nos funcionó bien el wifi. Había pobre conexión. No es que quisiéramos estar en las redes todo el tiempo, pero para subir una que otra foto o para comunicarnos con familiares, fue difícil.

The place is nice and family friendly but the staff at this resort were not friendly. Especially at the buffet. Had to ask for drinks at least 3 times and sometimes would not get them. They locked the doors to the buffet for people not to get out because they didn’t want anyone to go in when they still had 1 hour to serve food.

The property overlooks all was great. The food wasn’t as great and a lot of the employees only serve you well if they see a tip in their hand. I feel like they need a bit more training on tearing people the same whether they have a tip or not. Now I am not saying the entire staff was like that because I did come across a few that where great ex- Rosa the host from the buffet, I forgot the name of the lady but she is in charge of the kids area, one gentleman from the coffee shop that has nice eyes. They were very help-full and had a great attitude with every single guest that were approached to them.
