"The hosts were very accommodating and were ready to help and answer all the questions we had. They could use more cleaning with the room. The bathroom smelled of urine the whole time we were there despite me trying to clean it with the disinfectant wipes I had with me for our trip. Overall it was a good place to stay for a short duration. My family and I felt safe during our stay there."

"The property is beautiful, and has spacious pools. It is clean with lots of food options. My family and I enjoyed our stay. The property is big so be prepared to walk or wait for the shuttle. I went during seaweed season so the beach had many seaweed, although the staff did work very hard in cleaning it up. We spent our time at the pool instead. The staff are also friendly. We had no complaints about our stay. We will be returning in the future. "

"One of the most beautiful resorts I’ve stayed at and it’s super big! Many great locations to relax and great photo opps. The 3 upscale dining selections were amazing too and included. Bed was super comfy, rooms very clean and staff was very delightful and kind. I definitely plan to stay at other Melia locations. Small complaints would be additional staff at check in. It took over 30 mins to check in and half that time was standing in line waiting. After a long trip, a speedy checkin process would have been ideal. Room didn’t come with washcloths and we weren’t able to get some til our last day. And lastly tiny ants in the room which I believe is inevitable given that its vacation in the tropics lol and they’re so many outdoors and on the balcony, seems some were bound to get in. Overall I enjoyed my stay and none of the minor setbacks were "

"This resort was beautiful. But the rooms needed serious upgrades. Very outdated. We chose the adult only side because I’m a teacher and this was my end of summer trip and I didn’t want to be around children lol. However, the family side was MUCH better. It was nothing to do on the adults only side. But a short train ride or golf cart will take you over to the family side. I would definitely return, I would just stay on the family side next time. "

"We stayed here for my daughter’s 25th birthday and could not have had a more amazing experience. From the moment we arrived the staff immediately made us feel welcomed and at home. Our rooms got upgraded to ocean view suites which were absolutely stunning. The food at Casa Bella was delicious and well varied. We especially loved the smoothie station, where each day we would look forward to getting our smoothie made. We ate at the steakhouse which was absolutely delicious, and one night even ran late to make our reservation for the Italian restaurant which my daughter really wanted to go to, and the Director of Food and Beverage, Elias, went out of his way to make sure we could get a reservation. To Elias, Juan Jose, Robert, and all the servers and staff at Sanctuary Cap Cana, THANK YOU for making our trip absolutely unforgettable. We look forward to visiting again! "

"One of my favorite things about this place is they have events at the hotel to keep you entertain. At night you will see singers and dancers, they have pool workout during the day, the drinks are very good, the people are friendly and the guest comes to have a great time. The food is amazing and the staff is alway around to help. 5 stars "
