Relaxing stay in a lovely location

This BnB is charming, set among trees and fields. My first afternoon I spied a deer in the yard out of my window, and awoke to bird song each day. The host was friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable and the room had coffee service set up. The entire place was very clean and well-maintained. WiFi was strong and stable. Bathrooms are shared among guests, so bear that in mind. The town, Purcellville, is quaint and has many interesting places to visit. We breakfasted in the Hardware Cafe, poked about a consignment store, and sampled a flight of locally distilled rye whiskey, all a short drive from the house. Historic Leesburg and B-Chord Brewery are a 15 minute drive. A wonderful option!

The property, room and bathroom were nice looking. However, the room was advertised as having a “detached private bathroom”…not true. On the upper floor where our reserved room was located, there were five rooms, but only two bathrooms. Although the host told us the bathroom we selected was for us, in the morning one of the other quests in an adjacent room rudely and inconsiderately used our “private” bathroom while our toiletries and towels were still in that bathroom. The point is…the bathrooms in the Purcellville Home are not anymore “private” than the lockable port-potties at a public fairgrounds. Orbitz should disallow the term “private” in relation to the bathrooms at this Purcellville Home property.
