The views from our room were amazing - even at night when the boats and docks were all lit up with lights. Just gorgeous. Very peaceful. "The property is in a beautiful setting and very close to Colonial Williamsburg. The staff were excellent. The room was nice with a living room, kitchen area across from the bathroom, then a bedroom with a door, which was nice. There was a tv in the living area and the bedroom. And it was clean. Other areas of the hotel weren't horrible, but could definitely be cleaner and use some upgrades. The continental breakfast was okay, but not the best we have had in other hotels. We were charged a resort fee for each night we stayed there, but unfortunately the swimming pool and splash park were closed for renovation. This should have been listed as closed on their website. We never did find a putt-putt course, but it must be there somewhere. So the resort fee was really charged for nothing we could use."
