"Paid over $500 a night for a "premium" suite that had a lot of issues. The a/c was barely working. Could not get the room cool. Balcony door would not open and was completely off track. Bathroom door would not lock. Found several ladybugs in the room and found a spider on the bed right when we walked in. Attendant showed up to our room at midnight knocking on the door to finally come ask about our a/c. We were all already in bed at that time. Ice maker on our floor was not working. Overall, we did not enjoy this place. We usually live Embassy Suites, but not this one. We way overpaid for a premium suite. We travel a lot, and unfortunately, this was one of our worst stays yet. "

"Property close to UAB hospital, Publix grocery out back door 3 min walk, local shopping about 10-15 min drive. clean room staff great parking garage is next to hotel remember to get your ticket validated each time in/out or you will pay. "

"We had issues in our room with the toilet not functioning. It was supposed to repaired while we were out during the day came home to the existing problem with wet towels on the floor that had not been cleaned up. Called the front desk was told there were no rooms for us to move to and sent up maintenance. Maintenance left assuring us the problem was fixed but indeed it was not. Our toilets would not flush and randomly flushed itself throughout the evening. Both my sister and I use the lobby bathroom throughout the evening. I spoke with the front desk and although I booked this through Expedia I am a Hilton member They assured me that there were rooms available and we should have been moved but we're not. They also told me they would add points to my Hilton account since they could not refund any money as I booked through Expedia. As of today none of that has happened. Very disappointed in this property and how they handled our issue. Would not book again."

"Room was kinda cool, and it was clean. Felt like a house flipper recently touched it. But there was no desk, table to eat at, or a dresser. The heavy curtains were installed on an extendable rod with curtain clips that came undone when I tried to open them (and I was careful). The view was roof level anyway. All this along with shared kureg with no tea pods, shared brita ina shared fridge, with no reverse osmosis filter installation in the shared sink (on my floor at least) made it feel like a nice hostel, not a $170/night hotel."
