"The staff was great and the outside appearance was great, but when you got into your room, I had dead roaches in the corners of the rooms. You can tell nothing‘s been dusted or cleaned aside from surface level. There were stains on the bed skirts as well as the comforters. Underneath the sink and around the shower or cobwebs."

"Pool/hot tub is under construction and there was no pre-message regarding this. Front desk staff became defensive in response to me when I suggested emails they sent me directly from the hotel should have mentioned the pool/hot tub closure since it was one of the main reasons I booked the hotel. Instead of being able to accept the feedback, she became rude, which is not an ideal way to treat guests. Hotel was clean, but there was a horrible chemical/perfume smell being piped in throughout the building that gave us headaches. We initially thought it was cleaning products, but realized it was everywhere we went, so realized it must have been coming in through the air conditioning. Luckily, we were able to open the window in our room slightly to let fresh air in. This is a loud hotel - tons of families with kids yelling in the halls and through the adjoining room door - ice machines right outside the door. I guess because it's a convention center hotel this is to be expected, but something to be aware of if you are traveling without kids or not in a large group. Room itself was nice. Appreciated the refrigerator and that it was enclosed behind a panel so we didn't hear it humming all night; spacious, with good furniture, room to hang clothes and nice couch/seating area. "

"Carpet stains everywhere, room had a smell we couldnt rid of even though we opened doors, windows. We went to Target to purchase pillow cases as the quality of “clean” was horrific and we purchased air freshener as well- it helped, but only slightly. No towels & when we asked for towels they handed us towels that looked & felt like they were used like old and dingy. Dust everywhere, walls were dirty with hand prints and wear… IT WAS A MESS!"

"We stayed here while attending my daughter’s university graduation. We booked a family suite with two bedrooms. The rooms were clean, beds comfortable and linens average. The pool and spa area was lovely along with a small gym. There is a bar, steak house and Starbucks counter for food and beverage options. The hotel is somewhat dated and needs a refresh, but acceptable for a two night stay. Staff were professional and parking easy. "

"If you need an inexpensive no frills place this one is ok. Inexpensive hotels are hard to find near LA. Perfect walking distance to convention center, breakfast restaurant and Starbucks. Pool and hot tub looked good/clean. Beds and sheets were clean and comfortable but bring your own pillows. The place could use a facelift. Our room had a door separating the two beds but you couldn’t close it because the one bed blocked it. The room was what I would call “cleanish”, dirt on top of fridge and previous persons key cards, walls had dirt and bathroom was mostly clean. Lock on the door spun in circles but the door was locked when you left. No batteries in one of the remote for the two tvs. "
