Only property near my in-laws. There is a noisy nightclub next door and the grounds smell like cigarettes, but the price is right. They always decorate for each season and the rooms are very clean. Definitely worth what you pay!

I'm now 70 years old and have been going past this place for decades. Last year I decided to stay here because it was always full when I came to Wisconsin for races at Road America so I figured it was a good place to stay. It has very clean rooms and the staff is friendly, the property however has been in need of a face lift for many years. They have security cameras for the entire parking lot but the room doors only have a lock on the door handle, I was uncomfortable with that even though there seemed little chance of trouble. I've now stayed there twice and will likely stay again when I come back for the same races at this time next year.

Bed was extremely comfortable, best sleep in long time. Only complaint I have is there was very little toilet paper left on roll. Was just lucky I had one in my luggage from a previous hotel.

The staff was truly amazing very friendly and helpful with anything I needed. Unfortunately, the room itself was far from satisfactory. Towels were stained and appeared dirty, and even after being switched to what was considered their best room, the couch was in such poor condition I was hesitant to sit on it. While the location felt safe, it’s extremely remote. Getting a cab or even ordering food was nearly impossible, which made the stay very inconvenient. I wouldn’t return primarily due to the location, but the cleanliness of the room was also a major concern.

OK in a pinch.

There isn’t much room to hang or store clothing, if you want to take it out of the suitcase. Not many outlets. The room needs freshening up, paint, air vents, window covering. Ok if all you do is sleep there, as it is not a very cozy room. The new owner is friendly and helpful.

ROAD AMERICA TRIP

SERVICE WAS GREAT AND THE ROOM WAS COMFORTABLE . ROOM WAS ALSO CLEAN. A COUPLE OF LOOSE FLOOR TILES WHICH DID NOT BOTHER ME. THE ROOM PRICE WAS GREAT FOR MY NEEDS.

Wisconsin Aire Motel New Year review

The hotel was very clean and the staff were extremely accommodating, friendly and helpful. This is an older hotel that does need some upgrading. The beds were not as comfortable as I would have liked and there is no cabinet/dresser and/or desk in the room. They heat was not easily controllable so it was warmer than I would have liked. Overall, it was a very good experience but with a little updates and additional amenities it could be an excellent experience in the future.

Don’t let the posting fool you

The pictures and amenities should be updated to accurately reflect the current condition of the motel. The welcome mats were full of dirt, main garbages overflowing and dried dead bugs in the corners of the room. Unsure if there was a fire sprinkler alarm system in the room. Very dated, dumpy and seemed as though most occupants were long term live-ins. There was a porcelain throne graveyard outside our window. Appreciated that the sheets seemed clean and the water ran hot!

The room was bare minimum possible. That's fine because it's a budget place I don't mind that. The younger couple that works there were great very friendly accommodating awesome people. After a 6-day stay and checking out at 10:00 a.m. I just got a call at 10:00 p.m. with some drunken old lady dropping the f-bomb on me telling me my dog destroyed their curtains. That's absolutely insane. He doesn't do it He's never done that he simply not inclined. If he destroys anything he likes to chew on wood legs of furniture. Anyway this raging alcoholic old hag yelling at me and dropping the f-bomb said I owed her money and when I told her she's insane she said she's going to have me blacklisted from every hotel in the state. I'm still laughing. Apparently the damage was simply a few threads that were unraveled from the curtains. I can assure you with my dog was going to go after curtains he wouldn't just unravel a few threads he would rip them off of the rod and thrash them around and he would do that to all of the curtains in the room. But apparently a few threads were loose from one set of curtains. Also and I wasn't going to complain about this the room had two queen beds but only one had a comforter on it with two pillows and the other bed had no comforter and only one pillow. Honestly wanted to give these guys a good review because the younger couple we're so absolutely friendly and hospitable until this rude lady called me 12 hours after I moved out with this BS.
