“The parking was free and located right by the resort and spa areas. The room was clean, cozy, and nicely decorated, the pillows were rather hard, though. There was no fridge or microwave in the room, as American guests might desire. There was a hot water boiler, two cups and one spoon, 2 bottles of still water, tea bags and instant coffee singles, and milk singles (during our visit to the area we could not find any coffee creamer in liquid or powdered form anywhere). “Check in was very efficient. The electronic cards to our rooms were already prepared and waiting for us. Although not new, the property was well maintained and everything worked well. Lee was the receptionist, bartender and waitress and did an outstanding job. Our dinners in the restaurant on site were all very good. Breakfast was made to order and was also excellent. ”

“This place was so cute. I only stayed for one night but I wish I had stayed longer. Very clean and cute. You could tell a lot of love and care had been put into the decor. Everything felt cozy and homey. They even had coffee and cookies available in the room. And they provided a little binder full of hiking spots, restaurants, and things to do nearby which was very helpful. If I ever come through this town again o will definitely stay at Madeline’s. ”

“We stayed with our lovely hosts Jo and Jim at their beautiful B&B. We were made to feel welcome as soon as we arrived. Lovely Jo showed us to our room and it really did exceed expectations. Breakfast was delicious with perfectly cooked scrambled eggs and fresh coffee etc. Jo and Jim went over and beyond to make us feel at home. We will definitely be back.
