“Le calme”

“Loved the location, good value & very convenient for the old town. Nice pool. Lovely helpful staff. Secure parking”

“It was very convenient for sightseeing. There is a public parking lot across the street as well as street parking. We were there in late September and it was easy to find parking.”

“A gem. Nestled in the countryside near Bergerac is this beautiful country house. We were only staying for one night as part of a longer trip, but next time we will surely stay for more nights. Pauline gave us a lovely tour on check-in. The room was spotless and air conditioned. We booked into the restaurant for dinner and breakfast and it was a wonderful experience. The gardens were peaceful, with incredible views. During dinner we experienced an incredible thunderstorm, which was brilliant to...

“This is a small inn, in a wonderful part of Bergerac. It is impeccable on the inside and the hosts were very friendly and extremely helpful. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this inn to anyone coming to Bergerac.”

“Perfectly fine for a budget hotel, on an industrial estate off the ring road. It's clean and comfortable and the staff were very helpful. The pool was a definate bonus on a hot day and for a pre breakfast swim. So long as you're not looking for rustic, romantic, french charm, then it's a good place for a stop over on a long journey.”

“Gérante très sympathique et serviable Une boisson offerte devant la piscine Endroit calme et dépaysant 😊”

“Basic but clean room with air con. On site shaded parking. Friendly staff and good amenities like a pool and lots and lots of games. Good food and service at the Ludik restaurant. Out of town so not ideal location.”

“The staff were great. But for the room think 'No-Frills'. Not even a kettle.”

“The room was noisy and we could hear people above. The food and staff were amazing.”

“A beautiful place to stay, decorated tastefully and not overdone. My room was very attractive and although the mattress was firmer than I am used to I slept well. My view was over the valley but view from rooms facing this old village would also have been attractive. Efficient air conditioning greatly! Although small the garden was well maintained, as was the pool, and very quiet even at a busy weekend. Lovely sound of the water fall in the pool. Due to problems with my flights I arrived around...

“Séjour très agréable dans ce très joli manoir plein de charme avec des hôtes très accueillants et au petit soin. Parfait pour une pause détente au calme.”

“superbe adresse! Magnifique domaine en pleine nature avec une piscine très agréable. les chambres sont très propres Le propriétaire est aux petits soins pour vous faire passer un excellent séjour.”

“We wont be coming back here. It's very clean but in serious need of an upgrade. We had to fix the shower door and do some plumbing to get the shower to work. More of a 2 star than a 3 star. No ac. Slow Internet. Lots of towels and hot water. Never saw the staff after checkin.”

“The proprietors are superb. The property has been extensively upgraded to a superb standard. The pool is perfect for relaxing around as is the number of chairs and tables undercover. BBQ if you wish. The mature trees are so colourful. In 7 years of travel around France this has to be our number one pick. ”

“Amazing place, so clean and great value for money.”
