“The image that they have up on Expedia about what their room looks like is 100% NOT their property!!! The room is ancient and smelled weird and the pillows were old, flat, and lumpy! The lobby, pool, and picnic area is nice and accurately pictured. The area of town isn’t nice either. The breakfast choices were scant. “Quaint English style Inn in beautiful Southern Humboldt. The best thing about this place is the bar/restaurant. We had dinner there each of the 3 nights we were there. Service and food were excellent. The room was unique with heavy scent of smoke from the wood burning fireplace (which we did not use). ”

“Staff was very nice and accommodating. Decent size parking lot. I was there for a wedding reception and stayed one night. The heater in the room wasn’t working so they brought up a nice portable heater that worked very well and kept the room toasty warm. I enjoyed staying at the Scotia Lodge.”

“If you need an inexpensive place to sleep, this place is awesome! No frills, but the property is cheap and safe. Walking distance to a couple restaurants, the local store, gas station, etc. AC, heat and shower work great. Especially a great place for fishermen in the winter who fish all day and then need a safe, clean, inexpensive place to sleep. Good parking for trucks with Driftboats as well. ”
