"Pros: private entrance to our room as well as through main reception area, good breakfast buffet included, cozy room. Cons: the shower is coated in black paint or material of some kind to emulate the look of a volcano. However, the black hides the fact that either mold or mildew is growing quite a bit in the shower and is not being by cleaned / maintained properly. Everything else was clean and lovely, but mold/mildew needs to be addressed in the shower. Also the hotel is about 10 miles outside of Vik proper - we thought it would be closer as the address said Vik."

"Clean room. No staff on premises but if you have any questions you could go to the hotel next door if any questions, which we did to try to make sure we were at the right place and how to download the “key” to get in. Clean rooms and a TV but if you want to go to sleep early, be aware that each cabin has 2 separate rooms and you can hear everything if someone comes in late - banging and moving around. Parking is easy. Just make sure to download the AeroGuest app."

"Even though the apps said no breakfast no staff, you actually could use the front desk at there sister facility across the parking lot. The front door to our room has no privacy. There’s gaps people walk by could see right through the bathroom tub and our bed. I didn’t feel comfortable or have complete privacy. So I didn’t like the look style of the front door at all."

"We stayed one night in a very small standard room. Very sparse design layout. Wanted to play cards with our travel friends so we had to go to the lobby/bar area as there is only one chair and no table. The beds were comfy but when I asked for another pillow I could only get a blanket that I had to fold up. The breakfast buffet was delicious with a large number of choices. We did get in the geothermal tub which was very nice."
