"After a grueling week of work in Paris, this was a quick 3 day ski trip before heading back home to NY, and this hotel did everything right. Very comfortable room with a spectacular view of the slopes, nice amenities, perfect breakfast before heading out for a day of skiing, nice bar with a fireplace to relax away from the crowds of British bros in town, convenient ski room, good location in the center of Val Claret village, close walking distance to the main lifts .. "Gorgeous restored building full of history but all the modern conveniences of a luxury hotel. Very friendly french speaking staff with just enough English for us with my broken French. Breakfast was excellent. Nice bar for drinks and snacks. We did not use the restaurant for dinner so can’t comment. We went into town for those meals. Amazing views of Lyon and easy walk to Basilica and funicular to ride down to the old city. Clean modern subways and above ground trams letting us explore...

"On a réservé une chambre pour 3 personnes et Ils nous donnent une chambre minuscule avec deux lits pour enfants. Résultat des courses on a été obligé de prendre une deuxième chambre avec une vue sur un mur. Cela nous a obligés à prendre en charge beaucoup de frais supplémentaires. Une manager désagréable et qui a réponse à tout nous explique qu'elle n'a jamais reçu notre réservation pour 3 personnes et se moque ouvertement de nous en nous disant que c'est "comme cela à Megève".
